Kayliana Reeves

Instructor/Choreographer

Kayliana has been dancing since was 7 years old. She went to a studio for 6 years and was on the competition team for 4, being trained mostly in Hip-Hop. Even though she didn’t continue at a studio, she still danced her heart out in the dance classes provided through middle school and high school! She was exposed to many other styles of dance during that time including Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, some Ballet technique and of course Hip-Hop as well. Aside from taking the dance classes in school she was also a leader of the Hip-Hop Club in high school for 2 years and had a new found love of being a choreographer, not just a dancer. After graduating high school she went to Mira Costa College, and is still currently enrolled. She is striving to be a Dance/Film double major and is working on achieving her Dance Instructor Certificate. Since starting college she has taken Choreography, Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Commercial Dance and more recently Tap and Middle Eastern technique classes. Along with many technique classes, she has also been on the Dance Touring Ensemble for 3 semesters at Mira Costa. For the past 3 years she has been a guest Hip-Hop teacher for the Dance 2 class at El Camino High School, which is always a blast to work with such dedicated dancers.
